  • Developing plans and managing operations of the digital x-ray machines. This involves operations of the mobile TB clinics fitted with digital x-ray and GeneXpert machines as well as portable digital x-rays.
  • Liaising locally and internationally with different stakeholders including users, suppliers and engineers to ensure smooth in-country operation of digital x-ray technologies and AI for TB screening and diagnosis.
  • Utilizing Mobile digital x-ray, mounted in the mobile TB clinics to diagnose TB cases in different TB hotspots and congregate settings throughout the country. Involved in planning, implementing and evaluating TB screening activities.
  • Trained, mentored and supervised radiographers from different health facilities on the use of digital x-ray and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for screening and diagnosis of TB.
  • Responsible for equipment maintenance, logging faults and troubleshooting together with the team of engineers from the supplier. Ensuring proper storage of the x-ray equipment and accessories.
